Psychological Evaluation
Psychological evaluations are used to identify information about a child’s behavior, cognitive functioning, communication, and other skills. While a psychological evaluation is also used to rule out disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, psychoeducational evaluations are also often conducted to identify strengths and challenges in a child’s development and then provide recommendations for a child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) to address those specific challenges.
