Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific discipline dedicated to understanding and improving human behavior. ABA interventions focus on identifying socially significant behaviors and use evidence-based interventions to produce meaningful changes in those behaviors. We offer ABA treatment for young children with ASD where we first target social communication skills (i.e., eye gaze, requesting, joint attention), replace problem behavior with functional communication, develop play skills, and teach parents to modify challenging behavior and help maintain mastered skills outside of intervention.
