Behavior Assessment
Functional Behavior Assessment is a part of every Applied Behavior Analytic treatment when there is a need to address problem behavior. Functional Behavior Assessment includes direct assessment (baseline data collection, behavior assessment), indirect assessments (interviews, checklists), identification of the problem behavior function, and development of a behavior intervention plan. Functional Behavior Assessment is often requested by school staff to help address a specific challenging behavior in the classroom, or to request a paraprofessional who will provide additional individual support to the child at school.
